Thank you for choosing Coleman's for your parts and equipment needs. We have been in business at our current location for over 20 years. However, our family has been working on small engine equipment in the Clark County, Ohio area for well over 60 years! Starting with my grandfather's multiple business partnerships in Springfield to my father's current ownership of Coleman's Lawn Equipment we have been there for you every step of the way. Now we are starting a new adventure for our company in the form of this website and we hope that we will be able to continue to serve you for decades to come. A few notes about the website:
- Coleman's Lawn Equipment and www.ColemansLawnEquipment.com are independently ran entities.
- Prices reflected on the website may not be the same as in-store prices due to different inventory availability.
- All orders can be picked up in-store to save on shipping costs (choose "will call" when checking out).
- All orders eligible for returns can be returned in-store to save shipping on your side. Please call to insure that your part is eligible for return (See below).
- Of course we are always happy to have you visit us at 2133 Troy Rd, Springfield, Ohio for the personal touch!
Ordering Status
Most orders with the exception of special orders or back-ordered items can be fulfilled with 24-48 hours (excluding Sundays). Once your order has been filled and shipped we will notify you by email with a tracking number. If your order was placed using 'will call' we will contact you to let you know when it is available for pickup. If you have not heard from us within 2 business days of placing your order, please contact us by email or phone.
Shipping Information
Regular Shipping Option:
Orders are shipped FedEx, UPS Ground, or USPS Parcel/Global Service unless another method is preferred. Please inquire for a proper shipping price via 'Contact Us' if you need next day or 2nd day air shipping for your order. Please note that faster shipping is just that, it will only reduce the shipping time. Our processing time will not change. We try to fulfill all orders within 48 hours (excluding Sundays).
Shipping Fee(s):
(Ground Delivery to the 48 Contiguous States)
For all orders that can be shipped using a standard mailing envelope (gaskets, seals, etc.) ----> $4.99
We will adjust the price of shipping lower if possible, but if your order will require a higher shipping costs (odd shape, fragile, etc.) we will notify you first. For all other orders the following formula will apply:
- Up to $25.00 ------------------------> $7.99
- From $25.01 to $60.00 -----------> $8.99
- OVER $60.01 -----------------------> $9.99
*Additional charges for orders with size or weight exceptions (See below).
Track My Package:
Using your confirmation number or your customer number you can use the 'contact us' to see where your order is currently located. To prevent an overload of inquiries, please wait at least 1-2 business days prior to inquiry. Please note that some orders may not be available for tracking through the shipper's website due to the method of shipping, and/or weight of item. We strive to maintain fair shipping costs, therefore if your order is small we can save you money by choosing different delivery methods.
Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information and order processing information to be available after you have received your confirmation e-mail that your order has been shipped. Orders could possibly be shipped from multiple locations.
Truck Freight Shipments:
Items too heavy or too large for standard ground shipments will be shipped by truck. Please call us for a freight quote or we will contact you after placing the order with a proper freight quote . The usual shipping charge for freight service runs between $50 and $100 dollars. Extremely large products may require higher shipping costs. Include your daytime phone number on the order form so the carrier can schedule merchandise delivery to be made when you will have unloading help on hand. Typically, it is best to contact us in person or by phone to place any order that may require a freight. We may have multiple strategies to get your order to you dependent on your location.
Orders Over 10 Pounds, Odd-Shaped, or Special Handling Required Orders:
Some orders may require additional shipping charges due to their size. Coleman's will charge you the actual shipping charges incurred by us to ship your order. We are not in the shipping business and only desire to make sure you get your order at the most effective shipping rate possible to us. In today's high fuel prices, we have watched shipping costs continue to climb, therefore occasionally we find ourselves in a position that requires us to contact you over further shipping costs. We will always contact you via email if your order requires further shipping cost. We will never charge your credit card for more money than was placed on the order without your permission.
Back Orders and Special Orders:
Most parts and equipment are in stock or available in 1-2 business days. Sometimes we are informed by our distributors that particular parts are backordered from the factory. This simply means that no dealership is capable of obtaining this part unless they already have it in their inventory. However, we will inform you of the backorder status as soon as possible along with the expected ship date. You can decide to cancel your order as long as it has not been processed and shipped by the distributor. At this point, you will be charged a 20% processing fee.
Special Order parts not listed by picture on our web site, may also take longer. We have set up very efficient suppliers and if your local dealer says it is not available for a extended period, check with us. In addition, we have the capacity to get almost any kind of part no matter who made it. Let us know what you are looking for by contacting us via email or phone with your Make and Model numbers (also Serial Numbers if you have them) and we can almost always help you!
Because it is a Special Order, your credit card will be charged at the time of the order. Please Note, while most Special Orders do not qualify for returns, those returns that are approved will be subject to a 20% Manufacturer's restocking charge.
Returns
Return Policies:
These are Coleman's Lawn Equipment and www.ColemansLawnEquipment.com Standard Return Policies and are applicable to equipment and/or parts purchased by you at either location.
Our Sales Policy includes a 20% processing charge on all returns. Shipping costs are not refundable.
- All part(s) and/or equipment returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You may obtain a RMA number by contacting us by phone or email.
- Part(s) and/or equipment received by us without a RMA number or are not eligible for return will not be sent back to you unless additional shipping costs are paid.
- Part(s) and/or equipment not purchased from Coleman's Lawn Equipment or www.ColemansLawnEquipment.com (ex. parts bought at another dealer) are not eligible for exchange or return.
- Part(s) and/or equipment that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box and all other items originally included with the product will not be accepted for return
- Part(s) and/or equipment that show signs of physical damage from installation or abuse will not be accepted for return.
Limited Return Eligibility:
Engines/Engine Short Blocks: | Engines and Engine Short Blocks are not eligible for return. Please allow us to assist you in this kind of purchase in order to guarantee that you are receiving the correct product. |
Decks: | Decks are not eligible for return. Please allow us to assist you in this kind of purchase in order to guarantee that you are receiving the correct product. |
Electrical: | Electrical items are typically not eligible for return due to the nature of electronics. We understand that ordering repair parts can be difficult at times. Exchanges on electrical items ordered incorrectly can be returned for the correct item as long as the original part was never installed. |
Manuals/Repair Guides: | Manuals and Repair Guides are not eligible for return. |
Gaskets/Seals: | Some Gaskets and Seals are fragile. They must be installed properly in order for the part to work correctly. Therefore, we do not accept returns on gaskets and seals that are not still in their OEM packaging. |
Engine-Powered Equipment: | Engine powered equipment cannot be returned once it has been gassed or oiled due to federal shipping regulations. If the product has been gassed or oiled, it needs to be taken to an authorized service center for repair which may be covered under warranty. Coleman's Lawn Equipment is an Authorized Service Center. If you are in the Springfield area you can bring the equipment directly to us for all servicing needs. |
Refunds:
According to United States law, refund credits can only be returned back to the card of original purchase. In the event that a card can no longer be charged back (lost card etc.) an attempt on our part has to be made at least once and then a company check will be sent to the purchaser. We maintain a high Customer Service standard and we will help you with any unauthorized Credit Card use that may occur from our website. This also includes scams against our business (ex. using stolen CC#, denying authorization of a purchase to your credit card company after the sale, etc). Therefore, all Refunds will follow the strict guidelines that we set forth in our Returns Section.
Shipping or Website Errors:
Should our customer receive a product that was not expressly ordered by the customer, rather it be by our shipping error or incorrect website information, the product will be picked up by our shipper and replacements shipped at no additional charge(s).
Warranty
Warranties Section:
About Warranties: | We believe customer service is the most important part of the sale. We will always strive to provide you, our customer, with the best quality products. However, occasionally a particular part or equipment may not perform to manufacturers specifications. Please take a moment to review our warranty policy below. |
Manufacturer's Warranties: | All products sold by Coleman's Lawn Equipment have a manufacturer warranty. Please be aware that warranties from defect are provided strictly through the manufacturer. If your part is eligible for a warranty claim, our customer service staff will get information from you to process your claim and will provide instructions for you as well as a Warranty Authorized Return number to be able to return the defective part. If you believe you have a defective product please contact customer service so we can assist you. |
Engine-Powered Equipment: | If the product has been gassed or oiled, it needs to be taken to an Authorized Service Center for repair which may be covered under warranty. Coleman's Lawn Equipment is an Authorized Service Center for those customers in the Springfield, Ohio area. If you are located outside of our service area we can assist you in finding the nearest Authorized Service Center in your area. |
Engine Warranties: | If the product has been gassed or oiled, it needs to be taken to an Authorized Service Center for repair which may be covered under warranty. Please contact us by email or phone to assist you in finding the nearest Authorized Service Center to assist you. |
